Fun Casino Poker Table Hire

Play Stud Poker for Fun With Friends

At Party Casinos we like to give our customers variety so in addition to our Blackjack and Roulette tables we also have a full range of Poker tables including Caribbean Stud Poker.

Caribbean Stud Poker is a simplified version of five card stud poker. Your hand must be higher than the dealers in order to win. It's a very easy and relaxing game to play.

Poker ‘hands’ range from any ‘pair’ to the jackpot hand the ‘Royal Flush’. A royal flush in spades is considered the highest possible hand, however your chances of achieving it are only 1 in the 2,598,960, so yes, its a long shot!

How to Play Poker

Players must first place an ‘ante’, a bet onto the table with their chips to receive five cards. The croupier also deals himself five cards and shows the players at the table his top card.

After looking at your cards, your ‘hand’, you as a player must decide whether or not to play your hand against the croupier’s hand despite not knowing what he has yet. If you wish to play you must place an additional bet behind the original ‘ante’ bet. The amount for the additional bet must be double the ‘ante’ For example, if you place an ‘ante’ of £5 your bet behind must be £10. No more, no less.

If you choose not to play your 'hand', you must 'fold' your cards and you forfit your initial bet. Once all the players at the table have made a decision on their hand the croupier will show his hand.

The croupier must have Ace and King together in his five cards to ‘play’ against the other players. This is the minimum poker hand.

So, the croupier has a pair of 3’s. Those players that played their hand against him must have more than a pair of 3’s to win. If they do not they will lose.

If the croupier exposes his cards and has less than the minimum hand require to ‘open’ or play(Ace and King) then those players that played their hand will be paid their original ‘ante’ bet only. The ‘odds’ they placed behind will only be paid if the dealer ‘opens’ and the players hand is higher than the dealer’s.

If your hand beats the dealers hand you will win even money on your ‘ante’ and you will be paid ‘odds’ on your additional bet behind, the bet you placed when you decided to play your hand. The odds paid depends on the type of hand you have been dealt.
